Diana Iris Sanchez

My name is Diana Sanchez LPC I am a licensed professional counselor independently licensed through the Board of Behavioral Health in the state of Arizona since July 1, 2004. I have been in behavioral health since 1988 working in group homes, in the foster care system and with crisis intervention, individual and family therapy.   My goal is to help adults , children, youth and families to navigate difficulties in their lives and/ or family systems, develop insight , practice healthy coping skills and embrace imperfection.  I will formulate a therapeutic plan in collaboration with your needs, presenting strengths and challenges with established goals throughout the treatment process.

I know sometimes managing systems in our lives such as schools , behavioral health facilities or other entities can be frustrating and challenging. I have vast experience with working with many entities and can be available for consultation services to help with barriers in maneuvering through some of these systems.

My main modality is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, play and art therapy for children and trauma focused treatment.  My office is located in the West Valley in an executive suite with wheelchair accessibility. My office hours are by appointment only and am available later afternoon and weekends.
